Overview: p style="margin: 0px;"spanPrep Cooks make the world go round. You’re responsible for organizing everything in advance and during service, to make the kitchen really hum. You strive for an efficient, well-oiled machine, and that’s exactly what the kitchen is, thanks to your prep. Everything from chopping, breaking down, cutting, weighing, mixing, washing, storing, unloading, readying – you play a vital role in the kitchen’s day-to-day routine. /span/p Responsibilities: ulliFollows all company safety and sanitation policies and  procedural training/liliPrepares menu items according to Flanigan’s company recipe manual and plate presentation/liliEnsures rotation of all products and stocks products to par level, to ensure kitchen is not disrupted/liliHelps complete  assigned prep work, to stock and set up stations as necessary/liliTransports items to and from kitchen, helps Vendor unload delivery trucks/liliCleans and maintains kitchen area throughout shift/liliBreaks down and cleans all stations at closing/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"                  /p Qualifications: ulliAble to work flexible shift schedule which may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays/liliCan physically stand/walk 100 % of shift/liliCan reach, bend, stoop/liliAbility to speak, read and write English/liliAble to read recipes and food labels/liliAble to read POS ticket orders/liliCommunicates ticket times, executes food flow from kitchen to guests, and reports potential issues to Manager on duty/liliAble to safely use kitchen machinery (Open Flame Grill, Stove, Slicer, etc)/liliWork safely with hot plates, pots, pans/liliWork safely with sharp knives and utensils/liliAble to lift up to 50 lbs. several times per shift, lift these heavy loads to high shelves, coolers, freezers/liliAbility to hold items weighing up to 5 lbs. for long periods of time/liliWork in high temperature, damp environment  indoors and minimally outdoors/liliAssist fellow employees with dishwashing and cleaning, as needed/liliComplete and pass food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan’s and Florida statutes./li/ul Benefits: ulliFive (5) Day Work Week, with Two (2) Consecutive Days Off/liliPaid Vacation: One Week after Year One, Two Weeks after Two Years, and Three Weeks after Ten Years/liliChristmas Bonus after one year of employment (amount equals one week pay)/liliHealth Insurance – Medical Dental Programs Available /lili401K Plan – Immediate Eligibility.
