p style="text-align: center;"strongColorado Springs Imaging is adding a part-time MRI/CT/XR Technologist to our team!br /Position Pay Range $40.52 - $50.28| Monday: 10:30 am - 9:00 pm and Friday 5:00 am -3:30 pm |br //strong/p pThe Multi-Modality Technologist performs MRI procedures, CT and X-Ray examinations according to protocol and age specific needs including patient preparation. Positions patient and performs scans using proper technical factors, maintains and monitors patient environment, adheres to safety procedures and contributes to the security and maintenance of the unit./p pstrongEssential Functions/strong/p ol liInterfaces with patients to ascertain medical history and provides instructions/explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image./li liReviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent./li liScreens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc./li liObtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation./li liPerforms exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time./li liTransfers images to other locations as needed./li liCoordinates scan protocols with Radiologist./li liMaintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies./li liInterfaces with Lead Technologist Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns./li liOther duties as assigned./li /ol pstrongCompetencies/strong/p ol liTechnical Capacity./li liEthical Conduct./li liTime Management./li liPersonal Effectiveness/Credibility./li /ol pstrong /strongstrongSupervisory Responsibilities/strong/p pThis position has no supervision responsibilities./p pstrongWork Environment/strong/p pThis job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment.
