This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry.nbsp;strongThis is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Gary, Indiana area./strong/p pstrongCore Responsibilities/strong/p ul liMaintaining cooling systems – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems./li liConducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment./li liPerforming additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment./li liResponding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services./li liTimely and accurate completion of daily work reports./li liOperate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements./li /ul pstrongSpecific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs./strong/p pstrongnbsp;/strongstrongCore Experience/strong/p ul liMust be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified strong(Required)/strong./li li3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred)./li liBasic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred./li liMust be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email./li /ul pstrongPhysical/Work Environment/strong/p pAt Pearce safety is our number one concern.
