This role also supervises Electrical Apprentices, Journeyman and involves electrical hookups of HVAC equipment, panel and service upgrades, as well as knob and tube remediation, bath fan installation, and emergency repairs./p pstrongEssential Functions: /strong/p pThe Essential Functions are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform this job. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position./p ul liTeam Supervision: ul liSupervise the activities of Electrical Apprentices, ensuring optimal productivity and adherence to Mass Save and company best practice for safety and quality./li liConduct regular evaluations, provide feedback to management, and ensure Electrical Apprentices receive proper training./li /ul /li liAssessments: ul liPerform knob tube assessments resulting in sign-off or quote./li liIC rated light assessments resulting in sign-off or quote./li liProvide all MASS Save and HWE required documentation./li /ul /li liRepair and installation: ul liRepairing damage by crews to light fixtures, wiring, fuses, or anything electrical related./li liInstalling electric thermostats./li liWiring heat pump, boiler, furnace electrical components and hard-wiring smoke detectors./li liInstalling bath fans./li liService and panel upgrades/li liKnob and tube remediation./li /ul /li liCode Compliance and Safety: ul liEnsure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes, as well as safety regulations and industry standards./li liPulling and closing permits in all areas where required./li /ul /li liDocumentation and Record-keeping: ul liComplete necessary paperwork, documentation, and reports related to electrical installations, inspections, and permits./li liEnsure that all required permits and licenses are obtained and kept up to date for each project./li /ul /li liPerform additional tasks as required./li /ul pstrongEducation Experience:/strong/p ul liRequires a high school diploma or equivalent./li liValid Master Electrician License issued by the appropriate regulatory authority./li liMinimum 3 years of experience as Master Electrician./li liMust demonstrate basic fundamental knowledge of using a computer./li liThorough understanding of electrical principles, practices, and techniques, as well as current electrical codes and regulations./li liAbility to trouble shoot and interact with customers and crews./li liAbility to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time./li liCommitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction./li liRequires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English./li /ul pstrongCompensation: $40 - $55 per hour/strong/p pstrongPerks/Benefits:/strong/p ul liHealth Insurance/li liDental Insurance/li liVision Insurance/li liPaid training/li li401k Retirement Plan with match/li liPTO with accrual schedule/li liPaid holiday schedule/li liEmployee Assistance Program/li /ul pstrongSupervisory Responsibilities: /strong/p pThis is a supervisory role that may include overseeing and managing a team or department./p pstrongWork Environment: Mainly in customer setting with some exposure to office environment/strong/p ul liCustomer settings: This position is based in customer settings and will require work in and out of doors, including in attics, basements, small-confined spaces, and rooftops./li /ul ul liOffice Environment: This position may occasionally be required to perform job duties inside the typical office setting./li /ul pstrongPhysical Demands: /strong/p ul liThis job requires travel in a personal or company-provided vehicle./li liWhile performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, bend, crawl, or kneel in confined spaces.
