pbIt#39;s fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they#39;re doing!/b/pp/ppiWe#39;re committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business./i/ppbspanMinimum age:/span/bspan 18/spanbr /bspanPay Rate:/span/bspan $10/HR /spanbr /bspanHours:/span/bspan 5-8 hours shifts/span/pp/ppbspanJob Description:/span/b /pp/pulliAssist in providing a safe environment for event operations./liliCheck all bags and purses at all entry points for prohibited items, as well as wand each guest entering the venue./liliVerify credentials to control access in restricted areas./liliObserve and investigate all suspicious activity, customer complaints, and emergencies./liliMonitor parking lots for safety and security of guests, employees, and vehicles./liliRespond immediately to potential problems such as fighting, disorderly conduct, excessive use of alcohol, smoking, and abusive language./liliWrite reports on all, if any, accidents or potential problems that shall occur, as well as notifying Full Time Security./liliKeep Security Supervisor briefed on all accidents or incidents that occur./liliPatrol premises to ensure building/parking lots are secure./liliMonitor assigned sections for guest or safety issues./liliAssist with post event activities such as clearing the seating area./liliAdditional duties as assigned./li/ulp/ppbspanQualifications:/span/b/pp/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED./liliAbility to be registered with the Texas Commission of Private Security./liliAbility to be trained to operate a golf cart, Magnetometer Wand, and Walk-Through Metal Detector./liliAbility to follow proper radio etiquette and pass a golf cart safety test./liliPrevious security, law enforcement and/or military experience strongly preferred./liliEffective verbal and written communications skills./liliAbility to exercise sound judgment and remain calm during times of stress./liliAbility to lift, pull, push and/or carry 25-60 lbs. as necessary./liliPhysical ability to walk, run or stand for extended periods of time, along with navigating through ramps and stairways for up to 5-8 hours./liliAbility to work independently in a fast paced team environment./liliAbility to work in outdoor weather conditions to include extreme heat, cold and rain./liliAbility to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends and holidays./li/ulp/pp/ppThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
