Contributes to the goals of the clinic by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate, safe care and demonstrated commitment to continuous growth and professional development.p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ph2ubJob Description:/b/u/h2pbSchedule: /b/ppbMonday - Friday/b/ppb8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Can vary 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)/b/ppb5-6 weekends a year /b/ppb8:00 AM-12:00 PM Saturday and Sunday/b/pp/pp/ppbKey Accountabilities/b/pullipReceives and executes orders from the overseeing, delegating, or supervising physician or advanced practice clinician./p/lilipRooms the patient, obtains and documents vital signs and pertinent health information, validates medication reconciliation completion, and prepares patient for examination./p/lilipProvides documentation support for complex documentation in electronic health record during provider visit./p/lilipAssists in meeting the care needs of the patient in collaboration with the care team to ensure quality, cost-effective and safe patient care practices./p/lilipAddresses situations or decisions to ensure patient concerns and needs are met. Reinforces patient education to improve care outcomes and safe patient practices./p/lilipAssists the provider/RN in performing and documenting tests and procedures. Assists in discharging the patient at the completion of the office visit reinforcing the after-visit summary./p/lilipAids in the completion of medication, laboratory, and radiology orders as needed./p/lilipDemonstrates professional and therapeutic relationships with patients, families, team members, and providers./p/lilipParticipates in patient panel management./p/lilipWorks with care team members to monitor patients who would benefit from recommended health screening, preventative services, and established chronic disease tracking interventions./p/lilipFloats between specialty and primary care locations./p/li/ulpbr /bQualifications Clinic Assistant:/b/pullipHigh School diploma or GED preferred• Must be 18 years of age/p/lilipGraduate of a medical assistant program; Preferred/p/lilipOne (1) year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician; Preferred/p/lilipAmerican Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS/p/li/ulp/ppbQUALIFICATIONS CMA: /b/pullipValid certification or registration through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or American Medical Technologist (AMT) or National Healthcare Association (NHA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or a valid State of Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse license.
