In addition, the Facilities team ensures a healthy environment for all staff and for all animals that visit our locations,/pp/ppbuWhat You’ll Do/u/b/pp/pullibFacilities Maintenance Manager, Los Angeles/b reports directly to the Regional Director, Facilities Operations and has b0/b direct reports./li/ulp/ppbuWhere and When You’ll Work/u/b/pulliThis position is full-time, on-site role and reports to the locations in the Greater Los Angeles area./liliThe Facilities Maintenance Manager must be willing to work a flexible schedule of 40 hours per week, (Monday- Friday, Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday)./liliThis role will be on call 24/7 as necessary in case of emergency./liliOn occasion this position may be required to work overtime or adjust daily hours to address emergencies./liliUnder extreme emergencies, for instance a severe storm, it may be necessary to remain in the building overnight for the safety and security of the animals./li/ulp/pp/ppbuWhat You’ll Get/u/b/pp/ppbCompensation/b/pp/ppStarting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, training, experience, location, business needs, internal equity, market demands or budgeted amount for the role. The maximum of the hiring range is reserved for candidates with the highest qualifications and relevant experience. maintenance and predictive maintenance on buildings and facilities/p/lilipPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs to buildings and facilities including carpentry, light plumbing, and light electrical work/p/lilipAct as the ASPCA liaison to building landlords or property manager/p/lilipAddress workorders promptly, properly document repairs and closeout workorders appropriately/p/lilipPerform or coordinate repairs to equipment and appliances/p/lilipOrder parts and supplies when needed in accordance with ASPCA procurement procedures/p/lilipPerform light maintenance to vehicle fleet including fluid checks and tire pressure checks/p/lilipSchedule and take vehicle to repair shop for inspections and repairs/p/lilipAssist with transporting vehicles for repair, inspections, as backup to LA fleet coordinator/p/lilipAssist program distributing supplies to different sites as needed/p/lilipPerform landscaping maintenance as needed/p/lilipPlan, organize and direct the general maintenance and repair of the entire facility/p/lilipTrack and confirm all planned preventative maintenance is completed as contracted, cost effectively, on time and to a safe satisfactory standard/p/lilipAnalyze operations of various site infrastructure systems, determine root cause of problems/malfunctions and take corrective action to restore to operating condition/p/lilipInspect and monitor essential building systems to ensure optimal operation/p/lilipPerform routine safety inspections around facility for OSHA compliance/p/lilipPerform routine mechanical inspections in and around the facility/p/lilipMaintain and secure supplies inventory/p/lilipMaintain and monitor all fire safety systems/p/li/ulp /ph1Administrative (20%)/h1ullipFollow ASPCA guidelines for vendor contract management/p/lilipObtain and track vendor/contractor Certificates of Insurance/p/lilipLiaise with contractors and external suppliers to clearly communicate ASPCA safety, technical and contractual standards/p/lilipOversee facilities related projects as necessary/p/lilipPrepare weekly/monthly maintenance and repair reports/p/lilipAssist and coordinate work activities among departments, including setting up and break downs for meetings and special events/p/lilipConduct orientation training and in service training to explain policies, work procedures, and safety protocols to appropriate personnel when necessary/p/lilipMaintain product specifications and SDS sheets, updating when necessary/p/li/ulp/ph1Facilities Management (10%)/h1ullipInteract with
