They have the essential role of making sure all public spaces and guest requests are handled and taken care of on a daily basis./liliSorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding linens, towels and other laundry items by size and material/liliTreat stains and assess damaged linen/liliOperating washers and dryers and following all safety measures/liliEnsuring the laundry facilities and surrounding areas remain clean at all times/liliLifting at times up to 50 lb and standing for long periods of time/liliTraining of new colleagues/liliRoutine checks on laundry machines, reporting any machine deficiencies to the Supervisor/liliStrip guest rooms, removing all used linen and towels when necessary/liliMake beds, change linen, and distribute clean towels and toiletries on request/liliCarrying of guest luggage up to 30kg when necessary/liliMay talk with guests to provide basic information on facilities and the area/liliStock linen closet and supplies area when necessary/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpbr /bWhat skills and experience do you need for this job?/b/pulliPrevious housekeeping, laundry, or janitorial experience is an asset/liliCommunicate with guests; ability to read, write and speak English/liliSelf-motivated and dependable, able to accept direction and complete tasks with minimal supervision/liliCollaborative team member who contributes to a positive, supportive work environment./li/ulp/ppThe starting wage for this role is $15.75/hour./pp/ppWe work as a team and believe that we succeed together – these job duties may change based on the needs of the team and company as a whole/pp /ppbAbout Us:/b/ppWe#39;re more than a hospitality and attractions company.
