Clinical Coordinator (RN) - Full-time

p style="line-height:normal;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"The Clinical Coordinator is a highly responsible position that is accountable to the Director of Nursing. This position promotes maximum deliverance of quality of care and quality of life by identifying and resolving clinical problems, issues and providing appropriate training to the nursing staff. /span/p br / p style="line-height:normal;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Qualifications:/span/p ul style="list-style-type:circle;" li style="color:#000000;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as an RN in the state of Alabama. /span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Must have at least two (2) years of nursing experience in a clinical setting and at least one (1) year of experience as a supervisor in a long-term care facility./span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the needs of the residents served. /span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work as a supportive team member with and supervise nursing personnel./span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures necessary for providing quality care. /span/li /ul br / p style="line-height:normal;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Job Duties:/span/p ul style="list-style-type:circle;" li style="color:#000000;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Ensure medical equipment required is available and set up in the resident's room prior to admission./span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Assessment of new and/or readmissions upon arrival to the facility./span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Perform daily rounds with Nursing Team Leaders to identify any changes in a resident's condition./span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Review Nurse's Notes to ensure proper documentation relating to residents treatments, medications and conditions. /span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Admit, transfer and discharge residents as necessary./span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Monitor residents' treatments and medications to ensure residents are receiving proper care./span/li li style="color:#000000;font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"span style="font-family:'Century Gothic', sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Attend department head meetings and nurse management meetings as directed by the Administrator and/or Director or Nursing./span/li /ul pbr /br //p
