p style="text-align:left"spanMake a difference./span/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bPurpose/b/span/pulliCut wire, operate large machinery, work outside in the pipe department, or perform other physically demanding work daily, on a regular and continual basis./liliReceive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS) procedures./li/ulp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bResponsibilities/b/span/pulliPerform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse./liliOperate and maneuver warehouse equipment, large machinery, and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers’ instructions./liliMaintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections./liliCut wire and cable with the use of machines; ensure accuracy of the cuts./liliLoad, measure, cut, spool, and bundle wires and cables appropriately for the job orders./liliFill product orders according to the type, length, and size requested by customer./liliReceive incoming material in accordance with WMS processes, accurately identify and break down the material, note discrepancies, and make the product ready for storage./liliStore product in accordance with WMS processes./liliAccurately select, check, and pack UPS orders following designated WMS processes for packing, weighing, manifesting, palletizing, and loading./liliSelect and process non-UPS orders through WMS, and pack to make ready to withstand transport; safely meet carrier pickup schedules./liliSelect, pack, and palletize replenishment shipments following WMS procedures for handling and marking pallets./liliHandle stock tickets, and pack cross-dock shipments in accordance with established WMS procedures./liliSort and pack Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments in accordance with established WMS procedures./liliConduct cycle counts and bin location verifications; consolidate inventory as needed; follow established WMS procedures for handling stock discrepancies./li/ulp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bExperience, Educational, and Physical Requirements/b/span/ppMinimum/pulliMinimum of 1 year of experience required: Prior warehouse experience/liliAbility to perform the physical requirements necessary to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials throughout the warehouse and pipe department, including, but not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, and lifting materials weighing up to 70 pounds./liliAbility to operate and maneuver warehouse equipment, including, but not limited to, pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts, and other large machinery, in the manner necessary to move materials and consistent with manufacturers’ instructions and safety instructions. /liliAbility to work in a warehouse environment, including the ability to perform physical requirements, adapt to seasonal changes, significant temperature variations, and inclement weather conditions. /liliAbility to abide by safety instruction and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or its equivalent is required. /li/ulp/ppPreferred Job Requirements/pulli2-3 years of experience: prior warehouse experience/liliHigh school diploma or GED/li/ulp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bWork Shift and Hours: /b/spanMonday - Friday, 10:00am - 7:00pm/pp/ppbspan class="emphasis-3"Compensation Details:/span /bThe expected pay rate for this position is starting at $21.50 per hour ($18.50 per hour plus $3.00 differential) depending on experience./pp/ppbAdditional Information:/b/pulliSteel toed boots required./li/ulp/pp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bThe/b bValue of Graybar:/b/span/pp/ppAt Graybar, we are known for our comprehensive benefits and our employee stock ownership plan!
