Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

pbOverview: /b/pullipReceive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory./p/lilip50% of role will be Warehouse Associate responsibilities/p/lilip50% of role will be Delivery Driver responsibilities/p/li/ulp/ppbTypical Functions:/b/pullipPerform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse./p/lilipOperate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers’ instructions./p/lilipMaintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections./p/lilipUnload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies./p/lilipAccurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required./p/lilipSelect and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations./p/lilipMay perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations./p/li/ulp/ppbPreferred Qualifications:/b/pullipHigh school diploma or GED/p/li/ulp/ppbWork Shift and Hours: /bMonday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:00pm/pp/ppbCompensation Details: /bThe expected pay rate for this position is starting at $21.00 per hour depending on experience./pp/ppbAdditional Information:/b/pulliSteel toed boots that cover the ankle bone are required./lilispanCDL not required, but must pass DOT medical exam/span/li/ulp/pp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bbbbbWhy should you join Shepherd Electrical Supply?/b/b/b/b/b/span/pp/pdivpspanspanAt Shepherd Electric Supply, excellence in service, pricing, and products has been our mission since 1892.
