pDescription/ppThe Production Maintenance Technician will be responsible for completing maintenance tasks and repairs while contributing to a safe and cost-effective work environment./ppbr//ppstrongRole and Responsibilities / Essential Functions/strong/pulliPerform troubleshooting, preventive and demand maintenance for production lines including electrical and mechanical repairs, replace components such as: motors and motor drives, pumps, sensors, hydraulics, pneumatics, transmissions, make adjustments keeping in mind quality, tolerances and order of operations./liliWork from schedules, work orders, manuals, blueprints, charts and instructions./liliUse precision measuring devise (multimeters, calipers, etc.)/liliMaintain, repair, and install a wide variety of machine parts, components and equipment./liliEffectively communicate with peers, production associates, and supervision./li/ulpbr//ppRequirements/ppstrongRequired Skills / Abilities / Competencies/strong/pulliMust have knowledge of electrical systems and wiring (including 120/480 volts)/liliMust have experience and knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting/liliMust demonstrate an understanding of safe work environment and have a proven ability to work safely/liliMust have a solid work history showing the ability to maintain a good attendance record/liliMust have your own set of standard tools/liliPlastic extrusion experience is a plus/li/ulpbr//ppstrongEducation and Experience/strong/pulliMust be legally entitled to work in US/liliAssociates degree/certificate in related field or comparable manufacturing experience/li/ulpbr//ppstrongMental/Physical Requirements/strong/pulliProlonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk and working on a computer./liliIntermittent periods of crouching, kneeling, working in confined areas and in varied temperatures and outdoors as necessary to safely service equipment./liliAbility to lift 25 lbs/li/ulpbr//p
