Union Warehouse Associate

pspan class="emphasis-3"bOverview:/b/span/pulliReceive, store, select, pack, and distribute warehouse inventory./li/ulp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bTypical Functions:/b/span/pulliPerform any and all physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse./liliOperate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any material(s) contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers’ instructions./liliMaintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures; perform daily safety inspections./liliUnload delivery vehicles, accurately identifying material, breaking down material, and noting discrepancies./liliAccurately store product to the proper location following the outlined process; the use of light equipment may be required./liliSelect and pack customer orders following the outlined process; ensure conformance to customer standards and expectations./liliMay perform Delivery Driver duties as needed; operate a light van or delivery vehicle to deliver customer orders; ensure that customers orders are delivered to meet customer expectations./li/ulp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bPreferred Qualifications:/b/span/pulliHigh school diploma or GED/li/ulp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bWork Shift and Hours: /b/spanMonday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm/pp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bCompensation Details: /b/spanThe expected pay rate for this position is starting at $17.00 per hour depending on experience./pp/ppspan class="emphasis-3"bAdditional Information:/b/span/pulliSteel toed boots required./li/ulpspan class="emphasis-3"bbbbbWhy should you join Metro Electrical Supply?/b/b/b/b/b/span/pp/ppspanspanAt Metro Electric Supply and Metro Lighting we believe in fostering a workplace culture that values innovation, collaboration, and personal growth.
