pPosition Summary /p pAs a pivotal role in our Front Office, the Night Auditor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. Beyond meticulously verifying guest accounts and reconciling revenues, they are entrusted with upholding impeccable guest services and ensuring the safety of our patrons. Strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial for this role. /p p /p pEssential Functions /p ul liResponsible for the overnight operations of the Hotel, verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges and revenues, as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services and safety. /li liReconcile and complete all daily front desk agents’ work. /li liRun find trial balance to post rooms and close day. /li liRun accounts receivable reports. /li liProvide reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, and Executive Office the next day as required. /li liPerform duties of front desk agent as assigned. /li liResponsible for assisting in the direction and administration of Front Office operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. /li liHandle emergency situations, ensuring the safety and security of guests and associates. /li liMaintain safety standards for front office associates in accordance with company policy. /li liAbility to provide professional communication with internal and external guests. /li liOversee the VIP guest process including, but not limited to, reviewing VIP reservations, and ensuring smooth check-in/check-out. /li liAssist with up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy and overall revenue. /li liEnsure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events. /li liMaintain front desk office supplies and equipment while keeping the front office areas clean and organized. /li liTend to guests' complaints, questions, and provide exceptional customer service. /li liCarries out supervisor requests in accordance with hotel policies and standard operating procedures. /li liFollow all cleanliness standards to ensure guests’ satisfaction. /li liFollow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards. /li liFollow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve all standards of operations. /li liFollow safety and security procedures. /li liAdhere to attendance and reliability standards. /li liFollow all additional duties as assigned by management. /li /ul p /p pSkills and Abilities /p ul liUnderstand the mission, vision, and goals of the hotel. /li liMust be able to prioritize and work efficiently with limited supervision. /li liMust be able to speak, understand, and communicate utilizing the primary language(s) used in the workplace. /li liRequires good communication skills, both verbal and written. /li liMust be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. /li liMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. /li liMust be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. /li liMust be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. /li liRequires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. /li liTalking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees. /li liStrong team player, able to partner with management and other employees in a professional manner. /li /ul p /p pJob Qualifications/Requirements /p pEducation: High School Diploma or GED equivalence required /p pExperience: Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role; hotel experience preferred /p pAdditional: Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs /p p /p pPhysical Requirements /p pThe minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to: /p ul liMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests /li liAbility to stand for extended periods of time /li liAbility to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation /li liAbility to bend and twist, push, and pull, stoop, and kneel /li liAscend and descend a ladder /li /ul p /p pReasonable Accommodation Statement /p pTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
