Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal ofnbsp;enabling human life on Mars./p/divpstrongINVENTORY SPECIALIST (FULFILLMENT CENTER)/strong/p pstrongRESPONSIBILITIES:/strong/p ul liReceive, store and issue raw material, parts, details and hardware to support shop operations/li liStore parts and materials in bins, drawers, and racks, identifying part and stored location/li liPerform picking function to make up necessary kits of parts, material and hardware as required, ascertaining that all parts are available and accounted for in kit/li liMaintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures/li liMonitor shelf-life storage and maintain proper rotation of stock/li liVerify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity and revisions/li liIssue material against approved paperwork such as affixing verification and traceability on required serialized parts before issuing/li liValidate lot trace/li liPerform cycle counts/li liPerform good housekeeping chores in area/li liSupport the organizations metric goals and objectives/li liAbide by all procedures, desk instructions and standard operating documents/li /ul pstrongBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:/strong/p ul liHigh school diploma or equivalency certificate/li li3+ years of inventory control experience/li /ul pstrongPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:/strong/p ul liBachelor’s degree/li li5+ years of inventory control experience in a warehouse/li liERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)/li liExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)/li liExperience and understanding of inventory and kitting processes/li liExperience operating a forklift and other related inventory equipment/li liExperience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic fields/li /ul pstrongADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:/strongnbsp;/p ul liMust be available for one of the following shifts:br ul liFirst Shift: 5AM-3:30PM/li liSecond Shift: 3pm-1:30AM/li /ul /li liMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted/li liLifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position/li liMust be willing to work in an open-aired environment, lacking temperature controls/li liMust be able to work overtime and/or weekends when needed to meet critical deadline/li /ul pstrongCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:/strong/p pPay range: nbsp; nbsp;/p pInventory Specialist/Level 1: $22.00 - $24.50/hour nbsp; nbsp;brInventory Specialist/Level 2: $24.50 - $27.00/hour nbsp; nbsp;brInventory Specialist/Level 3: $26.00 - $32.50/hour nbsp; nbsp;/p pYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience./p pBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
