pJob Title: Inventory Specialist/p pLocation: Morris Cancer Center/p pDepartment Name: Distribution/p pReq #: 0000223277/p pStatus: Hourly/p pShift: Evening/p pPay Range: $17.68 - $25.57 per hour/p pstrongPay Transparency: /strong/p pThe above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey./p pThe compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate#39;s educational background, skills and professional experience./p pstrongJob Overview/strong/p pInventory Specialist is responsible for managing supply chain activities in the assigned area at the direction of the supply chain management./p pPerforms procurement activities for assigned procedural areas in a cost-effective manner using current inventory management processes and procedures,/p pCommunicates product concerns to supply chain management and seeks input or approval from the Clinical Resource Directors for all newly requested items prior to placing an order,/p pThe inventory specialist should be in business appropriate attire prior to the start of the scheduled shift./p pConsistently anticipates customer needs and expectations; responds to supply inquiries in a timely and effective manner,/p pstrongRequired/strong/p pHigh School Diploma or equivalentnbsp;/p pstrongPreferred/strong/p pTwo to three years of supply chain procedural area experiencenbsp;/p pExcellent customer service skills required/p pAbility to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs,/p pPractices and adheres to all department and organizational policies, procedures, initiatives, and training,/p pConducts procedural area supply chain activities for assigned areas,/p pThis includes special item requests across all service lines,/p pResponsible for the research, mitigation, and resolution of customer concerns and escalates when needed,/p pPerforms delegated tasks and special projects as assigned by supply chain procedural area manager, coordinator, or supervisor,/p pActs as a subject matter expert in assigned procedural area areas,/p pAttends daily meetings and huddles,/p pProactively plans for future supply needs by reviewing department reports and procuring goods in a timely manner,/p pThese reports include but are not limited to procedural area booking sheets and procedural area schedule,/p pResponsible for identifying and reporting safety concerns, medical errors, device malfunctions, and facility damage i,e, walls, ceiling tiles, etc,/p pPerform all other duties as assigned,/p pstrongSchedule/strong/p pFull Timenbsp; nbsp;/p p2 pm- 10:30 pm/p pAlternating weekends and holidays/p pnbsp;/p
