This role requires solid knowledge of mechanical tools, service and diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team./p p /p pstrongKey Responsibilities/strong/p ul liInspect, analyze, and diagnose trailers and related equipment for mechanical issues and faulty parts./li liPerform requested repairs according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications./li liConduct routine maintenance on trailers and related equipment./li liComplete trailer body work and undercarriage repairs (e.g., air bag replacement, cross-members, dolly legs, tandem systems)./li liDevelop and document action plans for all repairs; follow checklists and established protocols./li liMaintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including regular care of tools and equipment./li liFollow all health and safety regulations and best practices./li liCollaborate with coworkers and support team goals while being able to work independently when needed./li liPerform other duties as assigned./li /ul pstrongKnowledge Skill Requirements/strong/p ul liExperience: strong1�2 years of mechanical or equivalent experience./strong/li liCertifications: ASE certifications highly desired but not required./li liMust pass pre-employment knowledge/skill test, background check (10-year), and drug/medical physical exam./li liProven mechanical aptitude and basic math skills./li liAbility to read and write in English for documentation and communication./li liMust have own tools and safety gear (safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection)./li /ul p /p pstrongPhysical Demands/strong/p ul liHeavy Work: Exert up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly./li liFrequent activities: Walking, standing, climbing, stooping, crouching, balancing, kneeling, and crawling./li liManual dexterity: Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping, typing, and operating tools./li liSensory abilities: Talking, hearing, vision sufficient for detailed inspection, safe operation of tools, machinery, and vehicles./li /ul p /p pstrongWork Environment/strong/p pWork is performed primarily in a shop setting � both indoors and outdoors.
