Visual and dimensional inspections.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Check for completenesslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Verification against contractual requirementslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Proof of functionality by either a conventional function test or simulationlt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Final inspection of equipment and componentslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Conducts quality control inspections of in-process and pre-shipment products at local facilities. lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Inspection duties include, but are not limited to visual (workmanship) evaluation, functional testing as applicable (measurements, assembly, etc.), packaging amp; labeling verification, etc. lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Provides timely, detailed reports and photographic evidence of product, packaging, labeling, defects noted, etc.lt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt;lt;divgt;lt;stronggt;Industry Experience/ Technical Qualifications and Certifications:lt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;Need Mechanical engineering degree lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Experience with Visual/Dimensional/Welding inspection in hardgoods furniture.  Knowledgeable on Metrology, know how to handle Calipers / Micrometers.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Experience with Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in industrial equipment, machinery, components, products and materials.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Experience as a quality inspector, or applicable manufacturing experience in specified industries (CQE preferred) lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Experience with ANSI Z1.4 sample size determination and AQLs (training available) lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Ability to lift at least 20lbs as necessarylt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Must be able to use MS Word and Excel to submit documents and reports within the time specified (usually within 24 hours after job completion)lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Ability to work well in independent and group problem-solving situationslt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Ability to maintain a positive, professional disposition when adapting to occasional disruptions and unexpected events lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Flexibility in scheduling lt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt;lt;divgt; lt;stronggt;Job type: lt;/stronggt;1099 contractlt;brgt;lt;brgt;lt;stronggt;Project Duration: lt;/stronggt;in a 1099 Contract, Project duration varies.
