Hard Surface Flooring Installer Helper - Full-time

pCarpet Plus is looking for a flooring installer to install hard surface floor coverings in residential homes. Potential installers must maintain a professional appearance, be organized, punctual, and able to manage communications and craftmanship at a high level./ppbr //ppThis position requires an individual that takes tremendous pride in their work and is able and willing to perform to very high standards. This position requires availability Monday through Friday. /ppbr //ppRequirements include:/pp1) Installing hardwood, luxury vinyl, laminate, and sheet vinyl at the highest levels of quality, following recommended standards from organizations like CFI, NWFA, WFCA, etc./pp2) Proper leveling, floor prep, installing and removing trim, furniture moving, and removal and disposal of existing floors./pp3) An individual that takes pride in their craft and places an emphasis on quality and craftsmanship over speed and ease./pp4) A desire to solve problems together and a willingness to ask questions when you are unsure of the answer./pp5) Strong communication skills and an ability to create a professional relationship with a variety of customers./pp6) Integrity, honesty, and a willingness to contribute as a key member of a team./ppbr //ppQualified candidates will meet the following criteria:/pp3) A devotion to excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail./pp4) Strong interpersonal and communication skills./pp5) Self-motivated, with a willingness to continually learn about new installation methods and trends./pp6) Possess all tools needed to complete the installation./pp7) Be a licensed driver and possess an adequate vehicle to transport the crew and materials to the jobsite in a safe and professional manner./ppbr //ppJob type: Contract/ppbr //ppSchedule: Monday to Friday; varies as installation jobs are available, though we make every effort to fill your available days./ppbr //ppLocation: Ideally, the installer is based within 30 minutes of Charlottesville, VA /ppbr //ppReports to: Lead Installer/ppbr //ppJob Type: Contract/ppbr //ppPay: $20-25 per hour (depending on experience)/ppbr //ppSchedule:/pulliMonday to Friday/li/ulpExperience:/pulliFlooring installation experience preferred but not required/li/ulpLicense/Certification:/pulliDriver's License (Required)/li/ulpAbility to Commute:/pulliCharlottesville, VA (Required)/li/ulpWork Location: In person/ph3Work schedule/h3ulliMonday to Friday/li/ul
