These trainings also build experience that can help you grow in your career.br / /ppbImportant: This is not a single-site position. You must be willing to work at any KenCrest home in the region, across all counties we serve (iBucks, Eastern and Western Montgomery, Chester, and Philadelphia/i), based on staffing needs. /b/pp/ppiThis is a PRN, as-needed position, up to 29 hours per week. Overtime is only permitted in emergencies with approval./ibr / /ppbWhat You’ll Do/b/pulliSupport individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care/liliAdminister medications and follow individual support plans/liliAssist with community outings and appointments/liliComplete daily documentation/liliUse our scheduling system to view and accept shifts/li/ulp/ppbWhat This Role Requires/b/pulliWork at least 4 shifts per month to remain active/liliFlexibility to travel throughout the region as scheduled/liliValid and current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record/liliCompletion of required trainings including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration/liliTimely response to scheduling communicationbr / /li/ulpbQualifications/b/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience/liliMinimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with IDD preferred/liliExperience supporting individuals with strong behaviors is a plus/liliAbility to pass required background checks and clearances/liliAbility to lift up to 50 pounds/liliClear and professional communication skills/li/ulp/ppbuPaid/u Mandatory Orientation (Required for All DSPs)/bbr /To support your success, all newly hired Direct Support Professionals, regardless of full-time, part-time, or other employment status, complete a bmandatory two-week paid new employee orientation/b during their first two weeks of employment. During this time, you will complete important required trainings, including along with other state-required trainings. This orientation helps you understand how KenCrest works and gives you the tools you need to feel confident and prepared in your role.
