The Unit Care Assistant collaborates to provide optimal plan of case based on age/diagnosis specific needs.p/ppbResponsibilities/b/pulliPerforms direct and indirect patient care activities according to established policies and procedures and under the direction of the RN; processes physician/provider spanorders; participates/span in evaluating care plan and modifies plan to achieved desired results under the direction of RN; observes and reports changes in patient conditions/liliMaintains a safe and clean patient and environment/liliCompletes all required documentation and data entry in keeping with established policies and procedures; collects and reports pertinent data regarding health status of patient/client including biological/psychological/social/emotional/spiritual determinants of health/liliHandles clerical duties on nursing unit; including answering telephone, relaying messages, keeping records, directing visitors, distributing mail, and transcribing physicians’ orders/liliMaintains confidentiality of patient information/liliAdvocates for patient/family/liliCollaborates with all staff in the transfer/discharge of patients/li/ulp/ppbr /bRequirements/b/pulliHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited NAC program/liliPrevious acute care experience preferred. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $22.79 - $31.27 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
