Night Shift Fork Truck Driver - Full-time

pspanWe have immediate openings at Vitro Automotive (formerly PGW) in Tipton, PA.  This position, Night Shift Fork Truck Driver, works as a member of the Production Department and is responsible for transporting, staging and loading glass and other materials. /span/p ul lispanKeep proper glass stocked at the load stations./span/li lispanRemove full racks of glass from the unload stations./span/li lispanSet empty racks in place to keep the line running/span/li lispanSet up finished stocked containers/span/li lispanSet empty finished stock containers onto the packing stations/span/li lispanPlace starter tickets on finished stock containers at the time they are set onto the packing stations/span/li lispanRemove finished stock containers, ticket, upend, close and place in the finished stock storage areas/span/li lispanKeep paper and lash boards and materials for closing containers stocked and ready/span/li lispanEmpty paper hoppers and scrap glass hoppers and manage storage of scrap vinyl bins/span/li lispanInspect and pack glass into designated racks when needed. /span/li /ul pspanCompensation and Benefits:/span/p ul lispan$19.18 per hour/span/li lispan$0.50 shift differential for Night Shift/span/li lispanDay or night shift available/span/li lispanEvery other weekend off.  12-hour shifts./span/li lispanPaid vacation from day one/span/li lispanMedical, dental, and vision/span/li lispan401k with company match/span/li /ul ul li /li /ul ul ul lispanMust become qualified as a Fork Truck Operator (do not need to be pre-qualified)./span/li /ul /ul pspanEducation / Experience:/span/p ul ul lispanForklift experience preferred, but not required/span/li lispanExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred, but not required/span/li /ul /ul pspanPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, SAFETY and WORK ENVIRONMENT:/span/p ol lispanMust be able to safely operate a forklift./span/li lispanPerforms duties within normal industrial environmental conditions and outside and may encounter extreme heat, cold, wet or dangerous weather conditions./span/li lispanMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds./span/li lispanMust be able to push/pull, grip to use hand tools, reach, see, hear and speak./span/li lispanMust be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time./span/li lispanMust be able to inspect glass for defects and rejects when assigned/span/li lispanMust be able to inspect and pack glass when assigned/span/li lispanAssociate must follow posted security procedures at all times while in the building./span/li lispanMust follow all PPE requirements./span/li /ol
