The position will also focus heavily on training and educating existing Panel Team Leads / Panel Technicians to perform their own quality control checkout work/spanspan.  /spanspan /span/spanspan /span/p/div/div/div/divdivdivpuspanESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/span/uuspan:/span/uspan /span/p/divdivullipspanspanExceptional knowledge and understanding of all applicable electrical codes / standards including but not limited to UL508A, NEC, NFPA79, SCCR rating/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanExceptional knowledge and understanding of wiring and operation of electrical components including but not limited to PLCs, VFDs, transformers, power supplies, safety relays, control relays, pilot devices, pushbutton/selector switches, circuit breakers, fuses, phase monitors, contactors, overload relays./span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanFamiliarity with a variety of manufacturers electrical components/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanExceptional knowledge and understanding of electrical circuitry including but not limited to power distribution, motor controls, AC/DC high voltage, AC/DC low voltage, relay logic, emergency stop/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanProficient at interpreting electrical schematics / layout drawings/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanStrong troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanProficient at identifying electrical and mechanical design defects or poor workmanship./span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanMaintain quality documentation files of completed procedures/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanStrictly adhere to quality control procedures and processes./span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanDevelop quality control standardized work procedures and processes for electrical panels./span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanTeach and train existing panel technicians how to qualify their own electrical panel work safely./span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanCommunicate panel non-conformances with appropriate Panel Team Lead/Panel Technician/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanAbility to lift 30 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally./span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanMust be able to stand for long periods of time, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing ladders /span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanMust be able to perform all required tasks in a safe manner with solid electrical safety knowledge and experience./span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanMust be able to perform all required tasks with minimal instruction and little supervision./span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivpuspanQUALIFICATIONS:/span/uspan /span/p/divdivullipspanspanTwo-year EE technical degree /spanspanrequired/spanspan, or equivalent work experience /spanspanrequired/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspan7#43; years of custom panel building experience/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/div/divdivdivullipspanspanExperience with:/span/spanspan /spanspanspanMultimeter – resistance, current and voltage testing; /span/spanspanspanHand tools; /span/spanspanspanMS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivpspan /span/p/divdivpuspanREQUIRED SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:/span/uspan /span/p/divdivullipspanspanMust be able to lift to 50 lbs./span/spanspan /span/p/li/ul/divdivullipspanspanMust pass pre-employment and random drug screen/span/spanspan /span/p/li/ulp/ppbspanThis role will start at $28.00 an hour. /span/b/p/div/divp/ppispanThis job description describes the general nature and level of work expected of a person assigned to this position.
