pDescription/ppstrongJob Summary (Essential Functions):/strong/ppSell merchandise in Golf Pro Shop, ensuring that the shop operation is functioning well and that all phases of service and their execution are optimal./ppbr//ppstrongJob Tasks/Duties:/strong/pulliAdvises members and guests about attire, golf clubs and supplies, etc./liliArranges and displays Pro Shop inventory./liliAssists with Golf Pro Shop merchandising, cleaning (vacuums and dusts) and restocking./liliRecords all sales transactions./liliOperates point of sale (POS) system./liliCollects and records greens fees and golf car rental fees./liliIssues receipts for greens fees and golf car rentals./liliTakes messages for members who may be on the course./liliAssists in packing and unpacking inventory./liliRecruits tournament participants./liliAssists in special orders./liliSchedules tee times./liliChecks in and registers members and guests for golf play after confirming times and course and that the member is paying within limits of his or her membership./liliAssists with special promotions and sales./liliOpens and closes Golf Pro Shop as scheduled./liliProvides golf instruction as schedule warrants./liliAttends staff meetings./liliCompletes other assignments requested by the Director of Golf/Golf Pro Shop Manager./li/ulpstrongDisclosure Statement:/strong/ppNo one Job Description, for any one position, can possibly encompass all responsibilities, which may be requested.
