h2Job Overview/h2 pWe are seeking a versatile and customer-oriented Home Services Technician to join our team at Marvin Home Center. This full-time role involves hands-on work like drywall, finish carpentry, and window/door installation. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems and working independently. In addition to fieldwork, this position includes maintenance jobs for Marvin Headquarters and Visitor’s Center, and in-store support with sales, stocking, and inventory during slower periods. The role also involves being on-call for maintenance and emergency repairs at company-owned Warroad Real Estate properties, requiring seasonal checkups and coordination with contractors. This is a full-time position with weekday hours and weekend on-call responsibilities. /p p /p pSchedule: Monday–Friday, full-time. On-call Weekends for Warroad Real Estate.  /p h2Highlights of your role/h2 pManage and perform small repair, installation, and maintenance jobs for residential and light commercial customers and Marvin Headquarters and Visitor Center buildings, including but not limited to:  /p ul liDrywall patching and repair/li liSiding ang gutter repair/li liBasic landscaping and trimming/li liPressure washing and window cleaning/li liWindow installation and adjustments/li liFinish carpentry, trim work, and custom wood projects/li liShelving, cabinets, countertops, doors, window coverings, weatherstripping, and other handyman tasks /li /ul pProvide on-site evaluations to recommend solutions and materials. /p pDeliver excellent customer service both in-store and at job sites. /p pSafely operate hand and power tools in compliance with company and safety guidelines. /p pMaintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent. /p pLoad, transport, and unload materials for projects as needed. /p pCollaborate with store staff to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet customer expectations. /p p /p pThis person will also be on call for company-owned Warroad Real Estate properties. /p ul liPerforming routine maintenance /li liSeasonal checkups /li liEmergency repairs /li /ul pCoordinating advanced repairs with preferred contractors and managing the needed repairs until completion /p h2You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)/h2 ul liProven handyman, maintenance, or construction experience. /li liRequired skills: drywall repair, window and door installation, and finish carpentry. /li liStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. /li liExcellent communication and customer service skills. /li liComfortable working at various heights on ladders and in confined/small spaces when needed. /li liAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects. /li liValid driver’s license and clean driving record. /li liAbility to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions. /li /ul h2We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin/h2 pFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
