lt;div class=quot;benefitsquot;gt; lt;divgt;lt;stronggt;Benefits:lt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt; lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;Employee discountslt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt; lt;/divgt; lt;div class=quot;trix-contentquot;gt; lt;divgt;lt;stronggt;Overview:lt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt;lt;divgt;The Restaurant Server/Bartender will interact with guests and ensure they have a great drinking and dining experience with Holiday Inn KCI in our casual dining establishment, Burger Theory. lt;/divgt;lt;divgt;lt;stronggt; lt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt;lt;divgt;lt;stronggt;Primary Server Duties and Responsibilities:lt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;Ensure customers receive a great dining experience by acknowledging, greeting, and thanking all guests; take initiative in resolving guest challenges, and involve a supervisor when needed.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Handle table bookings, direct customers to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes, assist in drink selection, inform customers about food preparation details, and communicate specific customer needs to the cooks.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling customer requests, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Stay updated on current menu choices and specialties, as well as menu deviations and kitchen shortages to keep guests informed when ordering.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Obtain revenues, issue receipts to customers, accept payments, and return change as needed; accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Perform all pre-shift and/or post-shift cleaning/preparation tasks, such as cleaning tables, laying out napkins and utensils, refilling condiments, sweeping floors, etc.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Assist with the completion of basic cleaning tasks as needed.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Assist with special events as needed.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Adhere to grooming and appearance standards as well as IHG Service Standards.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Communicate other products and services available at the hotel upon guest inquiry.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Other duties as assigned.lt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt;lt;divgt;lt;stronggt;Primary Bartending Duties and Responsibilities:lt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;Use great customer service skills by greeting guests pleasantly as they approach the bar, taking and preparing their orders promptly, and creating an overall friendly interaction.  lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Prepare beverages as requested using established pouring standards and drink recipes to provide a consistent product to the guests and to control costs. lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Check guest identification in accordance with federal law.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Follow established Hotel safety protocols and procedures at all times; immediately report any safety/service incident to the supervisor or manager on duty.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Take action to solve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Set up the bar accurately and efficiently with all liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware, and supplies. lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Perform pre- and post-shift procedures.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Ensure that all liquor is properly secured before, during, and after every shift.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Other duties as assigned.lt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt;lt;divgt; lt;stronggt;Qualificationslt;/stronggt; lt;stronggt;and Requirements:lt;/stronggt; lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;High school diploma or equivalent.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Must be 21 years or older!lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Previous serving experience is preferred.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Previous bartending experience is preferred.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Cash handling experience is preferred.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Must speak English fluently and be able to write in Basic English.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Food Handlers Card is a bonus.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;ServerSafe Card is a bonus.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Must have a high level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods.lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Must be able to frequently lift/carry objects up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift/carry objects up to 50 lbs.lt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt;lt;divgt;lt;stronggt;Schedule (may vary):lt;/stronggt;lt;/divgt;lt;ulgt; lt;ligt;Both full-time and part-time openings available lt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Need Afternoon amp; Evening availabilitylt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Flexible availability preferredlt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Holidays as neededlt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Overtime as neededlt;/ligt; lt;ligt;Weekend availabilitylt;/ligt; lt;/ulgt; lt;/divgt;
