pstrongDuties and Responsibilities:  /strong/p ul lispanSubmit a Sub Availability Form upon hire and complete a new form at least seven (7) days in advance if their availability changes. /spanspan /span/li lispanMust maintain reasonable communication with club management and reply within 24 hours to accept or deny a work shift offered. /spanspan /span/li lispanPerform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift. /spanspan /span/li lispanMonitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere. /spanspan /span/li lispanStay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates. /spanspan /span/li lispanEnsure that all proper training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently.  /spanspan /span/li lispanConduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and hold up to Excel standards. /spanspan /span/li lispanPerform club walkarounds and complete assigned cleaning or associated tasks along with re-inspecting said tasks. /spanspan /span/li lispanAudit and balance cash drawers daily. /spanspan /span/li lispanProperly input and update prospective and current member information into tablets and point of sale. /spanspan /span/li lispanEnsure members adhere to the company’s policies and guidelines and address any infractions.  /spanspan /span/li lispanProvide a safe and secure environment for all members. /spanspan /span/li lispanCommunicate with members and create a high level of member service. /spanspan /span/li lispanStock retail and janitorial items for the following shift. /spanspan /span/li lispanUnderstand and adhere to company standards and help resolve any day-to-day member issues. /spanspan /span/li lispanAudit club inventory and communicate with GM, AM, and Shift Lead on recommendations of inventory orders. /spanspan /span/li lispanStay up to date on all required certifications and training courses. /spanspan /span/li lispanParticipate in team meetings.  /spanspan /span/li lispanCommunicate with, promote, tour, and assist prospects and potential members. /spanspan /span/li lispanAssist the GM and AM with club membership promotions, training, and implementation of any operational strategies. /spanspan /span/li lispanEnsure the club complies with all state and federal laws and insurance requirements. /spanspan /span/li lispanOperate and assist applicable members with the use of equipment, tanning, HydroMassage, Total Body Enhancement, and other amenities while making sure all applicable processes and procedures are adhered to. /spanspan /span/li lispanAssist GM and represent our company at community events and other outreach activities. /spanspan /span/li /ul pstrongQualifications:  /strong/p ul liMust be at least 18 years of age.  /li liHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.  /li liCPR Certification and AED Certification are required before working alone. Uncertified Team Players will be given the opportunity to complete CPR/AED training within the first 30 days of their employment.  /li liMust be comfortable standing for long periods of time.  /li liGreat communication skills with internal and external customers.  /li liMust be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.  /li liAbility to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.  /li liProficient ability in Microsoft Office and using a computer.  /li liMust have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.  /li liFamiliar with Excel’s mission, values, vision, and culture, as well as the Planet Fitness brand and operational requirements.  /li /ul pspanstrongSupervisory Responsibility:/strong /spanspanThis position has no supervisory responsibilities. /spanspan /span/p pstrongWork Environment: /strongspanThis job operates in a fitness club environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones, as well as standard custodial equipment such as cleaning chemicals, floor scrubbers and vacuums. A nonexempt Team Player is one who is entitled to the minimum wage and/or overtime pay protections of the FLSA.  /spanspan /span/p pspanSub Team Players do not have a set schedule but are assigned work shifts based on availability and business needs. Any scheduled work hours will be set during normal club hours of operation. This position may work outside of regularly scheduled shift hours to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight as required. Work hours are subject to change at any time depending on business needs. /spanspan /span/p pspanSubs must work no less than 4 hours per month and no more than 20 hours per week.
