The Advanced Practitioner is responsible for overseeing the infusion care provided by nurses in the physician-based ambulatory infusion center. This role involves creating and maintaining care plans for all patients referred to the center. The Advanced Practitioner supports the nurses administering the infusions and evaluates patients� needs during these procedures as necessary. Acting as the primary clinical liaison between the referring physician�s office and the infusion center. The Advanced Practitioner delivers safe, effective, and compassionate care in accordance with State and Federal regulations, as well as Company policies, procedures, and guidelines, all within their scope of practice./p p /p h3strongJob Title: /strongAdvanced Practitioner/h3 h3strongCompensation:/strong/h3 ul li h3Pay Range: $54.00 - $58.00 / hr./h3 /li /ul h3strongBenefits Offered:/strong/h3 ul li h3401K with Match up to 4%/h3 /li li h3Employee Referral Bonus - Uncapped bonus potential/h3 /li /ul h3strongEmployment Type Schedule, FLSA Status:/strong/h3 ul li h3Per Diem; 8 hrs. a week/h3 /li li h3Schedule: Occasional Monday's and Friday's | Hours: Varies/h3 /li li h3Non-Exempt/h3 /li /ul h3 /h3 h3strongReports to: /strongClinical Operations Manager/h3 h3strongLocation: /strongem8806 S Yale Ave Suite B, Tulsa, OK 74137/em/h3 p /p h2strongPrimary duties and responsibilities:/strong/h2 ul liReviews and evaluates clinical information provided by referring physician offices and admits appropriate patients for infusion./li liEvaluates newly referred patients and develops initial plans of care./li liMonitors plans of care and makes necessary changes/li liPerforms pertinent physicals exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new patients and confirms suitability for infusion./li liReviews all lab reports provided by the referring physician./li liRequests diagnostic and lab studies of the referring physician upon evaluation of the patient as needed./li liRecognizes situations which require the immediate attention of a physician and initiates life-saving procedures when necessary./li liConsults with the supervising Medical Director as is necessary./li liDocuments infusion orders in the electronic medical record./li liDictates or documents notes in the electronic medical record./li /ul h3emstrongAdditional duties and responsibilities:/strong/em/h3 ul liPromotes company quality outcome initiatives./li liDelegates responsibilities to staff nurses on duty./li liFollows company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control./li liCarries out all duties in a professional and courteous manner./li liProvides patient education and answers questions from prospective patients and referring physicians./li liEnforces all HIPAA compliance guidelines./li /ul h2strongQualifications:/strong/h2 ul liMust have a current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician�s Assistant in the state in which service is provided./li liMust have current DEA license./li liRheumatology and/or infusion experience preferred, but not required./li li1-3 years in a clinic setting preferred./li liMust possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills./li liStrong customer service skills to identify and address patient needs/li liIntermediate computer skills, MS Office/li liStrong time management skills and ability to work independently to deliver key results/li liDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively and high degree of professional ethic, knowledge of confidential and regulatory compliance practices./li /ul p /p pemTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
