bSecurity Clearance/bpNot Required/p h2Duties/h2pPerforms a full range of simple cooking by preparing and cooking items that require little or no processing, such as pancakes, sausage, eggs, hamburgers, and fresh or canned vegetables.,Prepares food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring, or breading.,Operates a variety of kitchen equipment using gas, electricity, steam or microwave heat sources; disassembles, cleans and assembles component parts and accessories, following safety procedures to avoid personal injury and damage to the equipment.,Cleans, stores, and maintains all equipment and work areas after each use; cleans other work areas and equipment, such as worktables, floors, walk-in refrigerators, etc., on an established cleaning schedule.,Follows established sanitation procedures when handling food; ensures that foods are stored at the correct temperatures to prevent bacteria growth./ph2Qualifications/h2pResumes must be two pages (or less). NOTE: Local / Surrounding Commuting area is defines as within 50 miles of Fort. Bragg. Allowances and Differentials This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be be paid.
