Mammography Technologist Part-Time

Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. Also provides patient education on breast self-examination as needed./span/p pspan style="color: #000000;"2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc./span/p pspan style="color: #000000;"3. Obtains prior imaging as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation./span/p pspan style="color: #000000;"4. Performs Bone Density and Mammography exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time./span/p pspan style="color: #000000;"5. Transfers images to other locations as needed./span/p pspan style="color: #000000;"6. Coordinates procedure protocols with Radiologist./span/p pspan style="color: #000000;"7. Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies./span/p pspan style="color: #000000;"8. Interfaces with Lead Technologist Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns./span/p pspan style="color: #000000;"9.
