Industrial Electrician - Full-time

Starting rate for this position is $28.00 per hour with the potential to grow to $42.00 per hour based on skill level and experience./font/span/ppspan style="font-family: Verdana;"strongfont size="2"What You’ll Do/font/strong/span/pullispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Perform any and all electrical repair and improvement projects throughout the entire mill site.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Read, write, and understand electrical schematics, equipment drawings, and blueprints.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Perform routine preventative maintenance duties.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all Programmable Logic Controller (P.L.C.) controls, A.C inverters, or any other control systems throughout the mill site.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Effectively manage and plan work to accomplish job tasks with minimal direct supervision.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Submit work requests.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Fill out completed work orders listing work done, parts used, and  time taken to complete the job.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Perform any other duties in any area requested by Supervisor./font/span/li/ulpspan style="font-family: Verdana;"strongfont size="2"What You Offer/font/strong/span/pullispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Two years of experience or a two year Technical Degree in electronics or related field.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Ability to work from extended elevations using all established safety procedures and guidelines.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Capable of communicating effectively and professionally with all plant personnel.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Ability to train others in areas of electrical or mechanical systems to perform any routine preventative maintenance schedules.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Ability to obtain the skills to be able to run any piece of equipment so that test runs can be performed for each machine on which repairs are made.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Ability to acquire necessary skills to effectively perform any maintenance duties required anywhere on the mill site.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Able to work flexible schedules which could include weekends, holidays, and call-in duties.br/font/span/lilispan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Demonstrated self starter and ability to proactively find work to do./font/span/li/ulpspan style="font-family: Verdana;"strongfont size="2"Who We Are/font/strong/span/ppspan style="font-family: Verdana;"font size="2"Interfor is a growth-oriented forest products company, operating in all major forest products markets across North America.
