Coordinates and monitors the inspection efforts of inspection staff in their assigned areas of responsibilities on small to mid-size projects to determine that Contractor's construction activities are monitored and controlled in accordance with design plans, specifications and contractual requirements. Monitors contractor's construction progress as compared to overall project and contract schedule./spanbrbrspanspan style="font-weight: bold"Required Education:/span/spanbrspanspan style="font-weight: bold"Bachelors degree preferred/span/spanbrbrspanspan style="font-weight: bold"Required Qualifications:brbrIn order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities./span/spanbr/p ul lispan2-5 years of engineering experience with as much vertical-type construction project experience as possible./span/li lispanDemonstrated ability to understand technical and complicated construction programs and the ability to communicate progress to both technical- and management-level personnel./span/li lispanAbility to work with others, a self-starter with a results-driven focus./span/li lispanCapability to assume additional responsibilities./span/li lispanProven accuracy, reliability, and completeness in job accomplishment./span/li lispanDemonstrated success on the job, as evidenced by satisfactory performance, acceptance of responsibility, and growth in the previous position./span/li lispanEffective oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues to a non-technical audience./span/li lispanMicrosoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Professional required./span/li /ul pbrspanspan style="font-weight: bold"Responsibilities:/span/spanbr/p ul lispanManage and coordinate work between the office and field for the assigned projects./span/li lispanManage project record documents / As-builts by posting RFI’s regularly to keep the drawings current./span/li lispanPresentation Development, PMM follow-up, CAP council preparation documentation./span/li lispanOrganize and maintain LEED, NEPA and all other regulatory documentation throughout the project./span/li lispanReview and process all submittal logs to verify compliance with the project specifications and schedule./span/li lispanPerform all required engineering duties and responsibilities, including assisting with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)./span/li lispanConduct thorough construction document reviews and examine all documents for constructability and Quality Assurance/Quality Control with the Construction Manager./span/li lispanPrepare a procurement schedule for subcontractors, major material and equipment purchases to ensure timely buy-outs and release./span/li lispanResolve any conflicts in interpretation.
