The General Service Technician is responsible for performing basic routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.  This position is expected to deliver exceptional 5 Star service to our guests, through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions while ensuring that guest expectations for time commitments and quality are#xa0;consistently met.  #xa0;/ppstrongSalary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour based on experience.#xa0; This role is also available for additional incentives.#xa0;/strong/pstrongQualifications:/strongpstrongQualifications:/strong/ppstrongAutomotive Assistant Manager/strong/pulliHigh school or GED equivalent./lili2+ years of automotive and sales experience/liliValid Driver License/liliAbility to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs./liliExcellent communication skills and basic algebra to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, and percentages./liliGuest and team focused mindset/li/ulpstrongAutomotive Technician#xa0;/strong/pullipHigh School Diploma or equivalent.  #xa0;/p/li/ulullipAutomotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  #xa0;/p/li/ulullipASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred. #xa0;/p/li/ulullipMust possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and have the ability to operate customer’s vehicles to conduct test drives.#xa0;/p/li/ulullipRequired to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program. #xa0;/p/li/ulpNote: Monro conducts criminal background checks for positions with security and/or financial responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws.
