Speed and efficiency are imperative to the smooth operation of the kitchen and the satisfaction of our guests. Speed is needed to successfully complete all tasks, while efficiently and consistently assuring 100% guest satisfaction. The line cook will be provided with high quality products and necessary tools and equipment to complete daily duties. /ppbResponsibilities:/b/pullipPrepares all food items according to The Halal Guys SOP manual/p/lilipAssumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served/p/lilipKnows and complies with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures/p/lilipStocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period/p/lilipMaintains a clean and sanitary work station area, including tables, shelves, grills, fryers, rice cooker, and refrigeration equipment/p/lilipHandles, stores and rotates all products properly/p/lilipAssists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed/p/lilipCloses the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations; assists others in closing the kitchen/p/lilipAttends all scheduled team member meetings and brings suggestions for improvement/p/lilipPerforms other related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or manager-on-duty/p/li/ulpbRequirements:/b/pullipEfficiency and speed/p/lilipOrganization/p/lilipAbility to perform well in a fast-paced work environment/p/lilipFocused on quality and pride in work/p/lilipAlways a team player/p/lilip2+ years of restaurant experience, specifically grill/p/lilipReliable transportation to and from work/p/lilipPositive, honest, patient and encouraging demeanor/p/lilipEnergetic, super friendly and a proactive team player/p/lilipAbility to lift 30 – 50 lbs regularly, bend, stoop, walk and perform other physical tasks for hours/p/li/ul/div
