pbIt#39;s fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they#39;re doing!/b/pp/ppiWe#39;re committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business./i/ppbESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:/b/pulliInteract with and guide visitors through walking tours of Globe Life Field in Arlington./liliPublic speaking amp; presentation with microphone and speaker in front of groups of up to 30-40 guests./liliAssist with preparation and execution of field trips, group tours, birthday parties, and special event tours, both on game days and non-game days./liliAssist with additional projects and events that the REV Entertainment Tours team is part of, including events where the main function is not specifically giving tours, such as Family Field Day, Fall Festival, Opening Day Tailgates, Texas Rangers 5k amp; Fun Run, and more./liliMust memorize tour script and be able to share facts about the ballpark, the Texas Rangers and MLB history (as provided by Tours department) in an educational and entertaining manner. /liliMonitor all areas of Rangers tour route prior to guest arrival, and as needed, unlock and check all areas before beginning tour. /liliThoroughly check tour route each day to see which stops are on tour that day./liliEnsure safety of all visitors./liliMaintain a professional image and pleasant demeanor at all times./liliWelcome each guest as they arrive for their tours./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulp/ppbPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:/b/pulliDisplays strong verbal communication skills./liliStrong interpersonal, customer service and public speaking skills. Must be able to engage energetically with groups of guests./liliCan manage people and resources to get projects completed; has strong ability to multi-task and keep order./liliDetail oriented./liliAbility to work effectively and comfortably with a diverse range of patrons from all backgrounds./liliCan be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct, honest communication at all levels of the organization./liliKnowledge of the Texas Rangers and Major League Baseball history, or ability to learn./liliAbility to work independently and in a team environment./liliMust have internet access and computer skills for scheduling and other purposes./liliAbility to maintain a positive attitude while handling difficult situations is essential./liliResponds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly./liliAbility to work non-traditional and extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.  buMust be available at least 2 days per week throughout the year./u/b/liliBilingual, Spanish amp; English speaking is a plus!/li/ulp/ppbPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:/b/pulliAbility to continuously move self throughout the ballpark for up to 8 hours.
