Maintenance Technician - Full-time

Position reports to a Community Manager, Maintenance nbsp;nbsp;Supervisor and/or the regional Maintenance Mentor. Effective customer service skills to interact with residents, contractors, visitors including effective resolution of issues and maintenance matters on a daily basis is needed. Will handle many other duties outlined in the Maintenance Policy amp; Procedure Manual./ppbr//ppstrongLocation/strong/pullinbsp; Molly Pitcher Landing located at 2691 Orchard Drive Chambersburg, PA 17201./li/ulpstrongPosition Details/strong/pulliFull-Time/liliNon-Exempt/lili40 Hours per Weeknbsp;/liliMonday - Friday/lili7:30AM - 4:00PM/liliOn-call work schedule, 7 days a week./li/ulpstrongJob Description/strong/ppbr//pp+ Monitornbsp;building(s) and grounds to ensure a neat and clean presentation and environment./pp+ Complete routine painting, minor plumbing, minor electrical wiring, carpentry, dry wall, cleaning and other related maintenance activities using both hand and power tools./pp+ Knowledge, training with HVAC helpful./pp+ Knowledge of OSHA requirements helpful or willing to train.nbsp;/pp+ Follow all written and verbal instructions./pp+ Ensure allnbsp;supplies are stored in appropriate areas under proper storage guidelines./pp+ Complete grounds maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming shrubbery, cultivating flowernbsp;beds along with snow, ice and debris removal./pp+ Remove trash and dispose of in designated areas./pp+ Maintain tools and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner./pp+ Ensure security of building during and after completed jobs and report any securitynbsp;violations to management.nbsp;/pp+ Report the need for any major repairs to supervisor./pp+ Report andnbsp;repair emergency maintenance problems and/or environmental hazardsnbsp;immediately./pp+ Adhere to allnbsp;company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures./pp+ Emergency on-call duties as required or assigned. Must report to property within 30 minutes of on-call notification.
