This position also assists with scheduling Admissions amp; Guest Services hosts and assists with addressing any guest concerns at the main gate or Guest Services.brbrbrThe ideal candidate will be friendly, have strong communication skills, and have a knack for exceptional customer service.p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"bWe are currently looking for a:/b/pp style="text-align:inherit"b  /b/pIdlewild and SoakZone: Admissions amp; Guest Services Leadp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"bRoles amp; Responsibilities:/b/pp style="text-align:inherit"b  /b/pul/ulpbRoles amp; Responsibilities:/b/pp/ppSupervisory Duties:/pp· Assist with the daily supervision of the Admissions amp; Guest Services team and any other assigned departments/pp· Lead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Idlewild and SoakZone core values/pp· Act as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned team members/pp· Become knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all admissions and front gate positions and backfill these positions when needed/pp· Participate in new-hire orientation and training activities for all assigned employees/pp· Ensure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with Pennsylvania law/pp· Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping activities/pp/ppbDepartmental Duties:/b/pp· Welcome guests to the park in a warm and friendly manner./pp· Courteously assist guests with questions and complaints/pp· Sell and collect tickets and season passes./pp· Ensure that all Admissions amp; Guest Services policies and procedures are being followed (e.g. entry/exit, bag checks, etc.)/pp· Utilize Point of Sale (POS) equipment to accurately record financial transactions/pp· Maintain a clean work Main Gate operation (wiping down counters, vacuuming, sweeping, picking up trash, etc.) to maintain a great first impression for incoming guests/pp· Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests./pp· Assist Guest Services as needed/pp· All other duties assigned by leadership/pp/ppbEducation amp; Experience:/b/pp· No education requirements for this role/pp· Previous related work experience in a similar role preferred but not required/pp/ppbLang/buage: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus./pp/ppbRequirements:/b/pp· Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Pennsylvania Child Labor Laws/pp· Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays/pp· Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift/pp· Ability to comply with all uniform policies/pp· Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner/pp· Ability to handle high-pressure situations, meet the demands of constant deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environment./pp· Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently/pp/ppbPhysical Requirements:/b/pp· Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday/pp· Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders/pp· Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more/pp/ppbWorking Conditions:/b/pp· Subject to frequent exposure to outdoor areas of the park/pp· Frequent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, snow, ice, and other weather conditions/pp· Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities/pp/ppspanWorking at Idlewild and SoakZone is about making people happy!
