Cook I-PRN - Full-time / Part-time

divfont size="3" face="Arial"Located in Elko, NV, Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital Is looking for a Full Time Cook I for the Dietary Department. The likely candidate will be able to preform a wide variety of duties related to the preparation and service of food under minimal supervision. Job duties will include cleaning the kitchen/dining area, doctor's lounge and cooking utensils. Other duties that a Cook I may be asked to perform will be:/font/div ul type="disc" lifont size="3" face="Arial"Operates computer to retrieve “Diet Order”.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Reads Pharmacy patient/drug sheets to determine patients on Coumadin, Warfarin, etc. and make appropriate changes to menu to avoid food/drug interactions.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Places eating utensils, meal labels, proper condiments, napkin, etc. on tray.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Prepares food item such as sandwiches, salads, Jell-O, beverages, etc. /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial" Assists cook when needed   /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Records dish machine temperature and other temperatures as needed.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Uses a variety of light and heavy kitchen equipment.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Examines filled tray for completeness and places on cart.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Pushes cart to appropriate hall.  Serves breakfast and late trays to the patient.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Collects carts from floors and returns cart to kitchen  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Washes dishes and clean work areas, tables, chairs, carts, etc.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Assembles and serves food items to hospital staff and visitors in cafeteria.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Operates cash register if needed.  /font/li lifont size="3" face="Arial"Prepares nourishments as needed for different departments./font/li/ulbr ul type="disc" lifont size="3" face="Arial"High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./font/li/ul divfont size="3" face="Arial" /font/div divfont size="3" face="Arial" /font/div
