This server must set the standard for all other servers to follow. We listen to feedback and make changes to ensure the best work environment./p pstrongPrinciple Duties/strong/p p� Ability to effectively provide service to numerous tables in the busiest sections of the Dining Room.br / � Responsible for training new hires and teaching others how to effectively train.br / � Works with management to handle any complaints and find solutions.br / � Assists with supervising the wait staff. These duties include: keeping everyone on task, delegating responsibilities, encouraging wait staff when necessary, and bringing problems to the attention of management.br / � Works with management to coordinate staff for special functions and large parties. These duties will also require knowledge of event set-up and operation.br / � Takes orders, provides service and all requested items both graciously and courteously.br / � Answers questions about menu items.br / � Helps meet department standards by working with kitchen staff to ensure on the best quality of food is served to the residents./p pstrongQualifications:/strong/p p� Must maintain positivity, sense of urgency, and promote STAR Core Values at all times.br / � An up-beat attitude, with a resident-first mindset are mandatory.br / � High school graduate.br / � Must meet requirement of hours as a full time employee.br / � Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively in English.br / � Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer, or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests.br / � Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisors and peers.
