CNC Swiss Machinist Lead (RD)

This individual will have swiss technicians report directly to them and would be responsible for the work of the group. They would be responsible for creating programs using Esprit and or Solidcam and planning and ordering all materials and tooling necessary for small batch runs done in the lab. They would also coordinate with other engineers in the lab to plan equipment. Assist in transitioning Lightspeed projects to production through the defined PReP process in a small team and collaborative environment./span/pp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;"1st shift: 6am-2pm (Monday-Friday)/span/p Responsibilities: ullispan style="color: #000000;"Set-up and operate CNC Swiss machines. (Citizen L12 and L20)/span/liliProgram new parts and improve existing parts using Esprit or Solidcam software/liliOversee Lightspeed job ensuring consistent quality is achieved, participate in basic process development on Resonetics technology/liliMentor and train Swiss technicians/liliWork with customers on new projects/liliHelp with equipment setup utilizing loosely defined setup process and basic troubleshooting of Resonetics technology workstations/liliAbility to work under minimal supervision, taking responsibility to complete assigned tasks/liliDocument process parameters and project details for each Lightspeed project accurately per Resonetics Quality Systems requirements/liliGood understanding of how to develop processes/liliUpdate data in Resonetics digital systems for responsibilities as instructed with feedback from Engineering/liliUtilize applicable inspection equipment to perform tight tolerance visual inspection of Lightspeed product for complex parts/liliRead and interpret print specifications on Lightspeed projects, ensure all required visual and geometric measurements are taken and documented per Quality Systems requirements/liliMust ensure assigned tasks are completed within the defined timeline while ensuring safety and quality are never sacrificed/liliSeeks continuous self-improvement, open and willing to accept constructive criticism/liliProvide project guidance and technical skill training for Application Development Technicians/liliDemonstrating and training manufacturing methods to Production operators to support new Resonetics programs/liliAbility to adapt quickly and positively to changing priorities and processes/lilispan style="color: #000000;"Employee must conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner and is responsible for maintaining a high standard of conduct and job performance./span/lilispan style="color: #000000;"Actively participate in continuous improvement activities. /span/lilispan style="color: #000000;"Other duties as assigned. /span/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;" /p Required Qualifications: ulli4+ years of Citizen swiss set up or similar/lili4+ years of programming experience using Esprit and or Solid Cam/lili2+ years’ Experience leading small groups/liliHigh School diploma or Equivalent/liliAbility to create job related documentation for quality purposes/liliAbility to read and understand engineering drawings per GDT system/liliStrong communication and organizational skills/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;" /p Preferred Qualifications: ulliPrior experience and/or training in production setting and comparable manufacturing preferred./liliProven understanding of tooling requirements to setup and operate CNC Swiss machines, including pre-setting of tools./liliAbility to read and edit programs. /lilispan style="font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;"Familiarity with ISO Quality System, particularly in medical device manufacturing./span/liliAbility to read and understand blueprints and specifications./liliSrong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math. /liliAbility to apply software used on high precision manufacturing equipment (G-code)./liliFamiliarity with ISO certified Quality Systems, particularly in medical device manufacturing/liliBasic understanding of materials science and materials properties, especially for common medical device materials (Nitinol, Stainless Steels, Titanium other metals, Medical Polymers and Ceramics)/liliAbility to create and troubleshoot programs for inspection devices and other auxiliary equipment/liliAbility to generate drawings and models with 2D 3D software using GDT (Solidworks)./li/ulp style="margin: 0px;" /p Compensation: p style="margin: 0px;"The span class="mark6t58xev3n" data-markjs="true" data-ogac="" data-ogab="" data-ogsc="" data-ogsb=""compensation/span for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
