listrongMedication Administration:/strong Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians, ensuring proper dosage, timing, and documentation./li
listrongSpecialized Care Support:/strong Provide individualized care for residents with specific medical needs, including assistance with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)./li
listrongDocumentation amp; Reporting:/strong Maintain accurate and timely medication records and documentation, including reporting any adverse reactions or medication errors to the supervising nurse./li
listrongResident Monitoring:/strong Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition related to medication, notifying the healthcare team of any concerns or changes in their health status./li
listrongMedication Storage amp; Handling:/strong Ensure medications are stored safely and securely in compliance with state regulations and facility policies./li
listrongCollaboration with Healthcare Team:/strong Work closely with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for residents./li
listrongCompliance amp; Safety:/strong Follow all regulations, guidelines, and protocols for medication administration and safety to ensure the highest standard of care./li

liHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred/li
liState certification as a Medication Aide preferred, on-the-job training available./li
liPrevious experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in senior care or assisted living (preferred)/li
liStrong knowledge of medication administration, safety protocols, and infection control practices/li
liAbility to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members/li
liCompassion for and a desire to work with the elderly/li
liStrong attention to detail and organizational skills/li
