This position will be based in San Francisco, CA./a/p pEssential Functions/p ul liAssist with project controls, change orders, RFI�s, and other construction administration duties./li liPrepare look ahead schedules with information from subcontractors./li liAssist in generation of various reports such as submittal and RFI logs, and with document control./li liProcess Submittals and RFIs./li liUpdate working drawings with RFIs and Changes. Keep this set up to date to ensure the team is working with the most current information./li liPerform simple calculations./li liProvide technical support for construction efforts./li liContact vendors for information./li liComply with company policies and procedures./li liWork in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies./li /ul pBasic Qualifications/p ul liIn progress toward earning a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related degree./li liInterest in a career in heavy construction./li liExperienced with complete Microsoft Office Suite, excellent writing and communications skills./li liExcellent written and oral communication skills./li liStrong interpersonal abilities for working in diverse team environments with staff, clients, and stakeholders./li liExperience with/aptitude for construction and/or mechanical processes. /li /ul pPreferred Qualifications/p ul liPrior internship experience in the heavy construction industry./li /ul pCompensation/p ul liThe anticipated compensation for this position is $25/hr depending on previous experience./li /ul pstrongemMWH Constructors/em/strongem is a global project delivery company with a focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.
