Rounds spaninclude/span but are not limited spanto/span environmental safety evaluation and verbal communication with the patient if appropriate. /span/span/span/lilispanspanspanContinuously monitor patients and attempt to verbally redirect, as necessary. /span/span/span/lilispanspanspanCall floor staff directly via communication device if an issue arises with the patient that requires staff attention. /span/span/span/lilispanspanspanActivate Stat Alarm when a patient is not following spandirection/span, or spanthe/span situation is emergent. /span/span/span/lilispanspanspanInitiate electronic privacy curtain upon request from clinical staff and follow up when the allotted time has expired. /span/span/span/lilispanspanspanUpdate spanstatus/span of the patient when spanpatient/span is out of the room (POOR) and follow up with expected return times. /span/span/span/lilispanspanspanDocumentationbr / a. Events spanprevented/span in the Intervention Log within telemonitoring software (if applicable).br / b. Adverse events in the Adverse Event Log within telemonitoring software (if applicable).br / c. Patient#39;s activities every - hours and PRN (hospital to insert method of documentation). /span/span/span/lilispanspanspanAssist spanGatekeeper/span and other nurse leaders as appropriate in identifying patients that could potentially be removed from continuous telemonitoring. /span/span/span/lilispanspanspanNotify spanGatekeeper/span of any available telemonitoring devices.  /span/span/span/lilispanspanspanProvide report to spanoncoming/span floor and monitor staff regarding patient status and activity for the shift.
