This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic environments, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting events that align with our mission of desert conservation and education./ppstrongKey Responsibilities:/strong/pp· Assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of catered events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties./pp· Prepare and serve food amp; beverages in accordance with event requirements and food safety standards./pp· Maintain cleanliness amp; organization of catering areas, prep stations, service lines, and event spaces./pp· Provide friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience./pp· Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service./pp· Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines./pp· Support inventory management and restocking of catering supplies./pp· Represent The Living Desert’s values and mission in all guest interactions./ppbr//ppRequirements/ppstrongQualifications:/strong/pulliPrevious experience in catering, banquet service, or food service preferred./liliExcellent customer service and communication skills./liliAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment./liliMust be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods./liliFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays./liliMust be 18 years or older./li/ulpstrongAdditional Information:/strong/pulliThis is a seasonal position with variable hours based on event scheduling./liliUniforms and training provided./liliCurrent Food Handlers Permit amp; RBS Certification is required./li/ulpstrongAbout The Living Desert:/strong The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is a nonprofit organization dedicated to desert conservation through preservation, education, and appreciation.
