pspanspanstrongPrimary Responsibilities:/strong/span/span/p
ul
lispanspanAssist physicians and nursing personnel with injections, EKGs, phlebotomy and other patient care procedures/span/span/li
lispanspanMaintain established quality control standards/span/span/li
lispanspanRecord and process patient care documentation quickly and accurately/span/span/li
lispanspanCoordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies/span/span/li
lispanspanOrganize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms and sterilize instruments/span/span/li
lispanspanMaintain quality control standards and required Medical Assistant and CPR certification/span/span/li

lispanspanHigh school diploma or GED/span/span/li
lispanspanCurrent, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification or registration or the ability to obtain the designation within 180 days of employment/span/span/li
lispanspanCurrent CPR and/or BLS certification or the ability to attain the certification within 30 days of employment/span/span/li
lispanspanKnowledge of medical terminology/span/span/li
lispanspanBilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency/span/span/li
lispanspanThis position requires Tuberculosis screening as well as proof of immunity to Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis through lab confirmation of immunity, documented evidence of vaccination, or a doctor’s diagnosis of disease/span/span/li

lispanspan1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant or related experience in a medical setting/span/span/li
lispanspanICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience/span/span/li
