Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem area to determine issue and perform the repair using hand tools and power tools following blueprints, diagrams, and service manuals./liliRepair and maintain mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components of utility generation equipment such as air compressors, compressed air dryers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers and HVAC systems.  /liliPerform repairs on facility equipment such as overhead doors and controls, personnel entry doors, dock doors including controls, levellers and pit bulls./liliFollow blueprints and specifications; use hand tools and power tools and precision measuring equipment to perform maintenance functions with good workmanship./liliRepair broken metal parts, using cutting, brazing, soldering, and welding equipment, grinders and hand tools./liliRespond to work requests and service calls as directed performing a variety of tasks that support the organization./liliPerform daily inspections for doors, site lights, and substation checklists./liliRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specifications in the performance of the duties to ensure system integrity is maintained./liliAssist Facilities Engineering Specialists and Management with project support by providing troubleshooting, applying knowledge, providing sketches or computer-generated designs of machine/facility components./liliSet-up and operate metal working tools such as lathe, drill press, or grinder to make repair parts./liliStart machines and equipment to test operation following repair and supporting the safety equipment turnover process./liliOperate various powered equipment according to HMMA standards./liliPosition requires job rotation between different shifts and maintenance jobs within the plant./liliPosition requires the ability to work overtime in excess of 40 hours per week/liliAdminister, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements./liliMeet all other requirements as assigned./li/ulh3 id="toc_3"Requirements/Skills/h3ulliHigh School Diploma/GED/lili2 year Technical Degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Electricity, or Industrial Electronics preferred/lilispan1 – 3 years job related experience desired including any combination of skills, experience, or specialized education or training in the following (multi-skilled preferred): Electricity electrical application; HVAC systems, programmable logic controls (PLC); heating, A/C, ventilation refrigeration; plumbing pipefitting; welding; pneumatics; mechanical systems; machine tool practices; industrial machinery; hydraulics; schematics; knowledge of construction, and facility building systems./span/li/ulh3 id="toc_3"Certification / Knowledge/h3ulliHVAC/liliEPA Refrigerant Certified/liliElectrical/liliPlumbing/liliHVAC Systems/liliMechanical/liliElectrical/liliPlumbingdivdiv /div/div/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"strongAdditional Information:/strong/pp style="margin: 0px;"Position may require occasional travel (domestic or foreign).
