Assistant Store Manager/Key Carrier - Full-time

pRoses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve.br /br /strongSummary/strongbr /br /As a Roses/Roses Express Assistant Manager/Key Carrier you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers and supporting the Store Manager with the overall operation of the store to achieve company deliverables./p pstrongDuties and Responsibilities:/strong/p ul liAssist with the hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager/li liAssist with all store functions and day-to-day store activities as directed by the Store Manager/li liAble to perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager/li liAssist the Store Manager in protecting and securing all company assets, including store cash./li liAdhere to all policies and procedures including safety guidelines./li liMaintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors./li liMaintain all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, to company standards to include recovery./li liWhen the Store Manager is not on the premises, direct supervisory responsibility for all hourly Team Members./li liProcess all SSC Corporate directives./li liAssist the Store Manager on the receipt and return of DSD merchandise./li liAssist Store Manager in the management of freight flow./li liMeet or exceed productivity standards./li liAssist the Store Manager in ordering and stocking all merchandise needs./li liAssist the Store Manager in maintaining stockroom organization./li liAssist the Store Manager in ensuring that the sales floor is sales effective daily./li liAssist the Store Manager in planning and implementing all directives in the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin./li /ul pstrongQualifications/strong/p ul liPrefer prior retail and management experience./li liEffective communication, interpersonal, and written skills/li liAbility to lift, bend and transport merchandise weighing up to 50lbs from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation./li liAbility to work in a high energy, team environment./li liAbility to work flexible, full-time schedule or part-time to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.br /br //li /ul pstrongBenefits/strong/p ul liWe offer generous benefits, flexible work schedules./li liHealth and welfare programs including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision and more./li liPaid Time Off/li liRetirement Plans/li /ul p /p pVariety Wholesalers, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer./p
