They assess and prioritize patient needs, administer treatments, perform life-saving procedures, and coordinate with other medical professionals. They also document patient information, manage crises, and provide emotional support to patients and families. Quick decision-making and the ability to handle high-pressure situations are essential./p pstrongRequired: Certifications/Licenses:/strong/p ul liLicense to practice in the State of Illinois/li liCurrent AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification; AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Red Cross PALS; and AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Red Cross ALS required upon hire./li liEmergency Communication Registered Nurse (ECRN) preferred./li liNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred./li liTrauma Nurse Specialist (TNS) or Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred/li liSTART/JumpStart (must obtain within 6 months of hire/transfer)/li /ul pstrongEducation:/strongbr /Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing/p pstrongExperience:/strong/p pAt least one year previous experience in clinical unit preferred. Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team and excellent communication skills required.
