This position will assist with the video live-production needs across all events (primarily sporting) by directing, operating graphics, replays, live video boards, or cameras and working as an audio specialist./pp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"spanThis position will work on-site at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Sonnentag Center, a major athletic, recreation, and event center. The new Sonnentag Center serves as a venue for university and community events, concerts, and home to Eau Claire Men’s and Women’s Athletics./span/pp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"span style="text-decoration: underline;"strongEssential Functions:/strong/span/pulliSelect camera angles and coordinate shots using full production video switcher/liliCreate and manage graphics/liliOperate a video replay system/liliMonitor and run streams for sporting events/liliRun production audio for the broadcast/liliOperate both manual and PTZ cameras/liliSet up, operate, and strike production equipment in a sporting or events environment/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"span style="text-decoration: underline;"strongSite-Specific Responsibilities:/strong/span/pulliUse Daktronics Show Control to run in-house video boards/li/ul Qualifications: p style="margin: 0px;"span style="text-decoration: underline;"strongEducation and Experience:/strong/span/pulliA high school diploma or its equivalent/liliExperience in live broadcasting/liliExperience using cameras and video production equipment/liliExperience with Daktronics Show Control and video editing systems are a plus/liliKnowledge and understanding of all NCAA and conference rules and regulations regarding compliance issues and film trade/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"span style="text-decoration: underline;"strongSkills and Abilities:/strong/span/pulliExcellent customer service, organization, communication, and problem solving skills/liliWillingness to learn new technologies/liliStrong people skills/li/ul Work Environment and Physical Demands: p style="margin: 0px;"span style="text-decoration: underline;"strongWork/strongstrong Environment/strong/span/pulliEvents environment that may occur on weekends and evenings/liliModerate to loud noise/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;"span style="text-decoration: underline;"strongPhysical Demands/strong/span/pulliMust be able to traverse throughout the arena.
