Community Partnerships Program Facilitator - Part-time

Community Partnerships Program Facilitator $16/hour Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE) seeks highly motivated, responsible, reliable, individuals who have energy, enthusiasm and experience working with children to facilitate programs for girls who meet weekly in school and community center settings. Program facilitators prepare and facilitate fun, hands-on activities for girls to build their self-esteem and leadership skills. Training, program curriculum and materials will be provided by GSSNE.brbrstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/strongbr#8226; Attend all program trainingsbr#8226; Adhere to lesson plans using the materials provided by GSSNEbr#8226; Facilitate the program at assigned program sitesbr#8226; Maintain accurate program records of achievements, updated participate attendance rosters and all other required recordsbr#8226; Communicate clearly with Program Manager regarding plans, activities, and tasks.br#8226; Help build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better placebr#8226; Be always responsible for the health and safety of the girls in the group.br#8226; Coordinate and communicate with the program site staffbr#8226; Travel to local sites hosting programs at schools, community centers, etc.br#8226; Be responsible for all borrowed program-related supplies and materials.brbrstrongQualifications:/strongbr#8226; High School Diplomabr#8226; 1-2 years of relevant experience preferredbr#8226; Experience working with children preferredbr#8226; Must be able to pass a criminal background checkbrbrstrongRequired, Specialized, or Technical Knowledge: /strongbr#8226; Must have reliable transportationbr#8226; Attend GSSNE orientation and trainingbrbrstrongSchedule:/strongbr#8226; Based on availability and program site schedule.Each facilitator will coordinate their schedule with the Program Manager#160;
